WE ARE IN LOVE!!!

I don't know what else to say, except I am so in love with our daughter. The anticipation of waiting to meet her for 9 months just about killed me and now here she is in my arms. Is has been a surreal experience! I love everything about her, I love everything she does and I can't get enough of her. We can't wait to show her off.

Sofia Reid Caslow

Sofia Reid Caslow was born February 25th at 11:35am. She weighs 8lbs and is 19.5" long. She is beautiful. One of the most precious things I have ever seen, I fell in love with her when her mommy announced her but I am now obsessively in love with her. Her mommy is also doing great, she was a trooper. She did amazing and handled everything well. Our doctor delivered her so we were both very happy about that.
We appreciate all the emails, texts and posts from everyone. Sofia has a lot of friends and we are so ever thankful for that. We love all of you and God bless.

Due Date Scheduled.....

Well it is offical, Wednesday the 25th of February at 7am we will be heading to the hospital to have ourselves a baby!! Today was my offical last day of work (yippee), the doctor will induce us early Wednesday morning so tonight and tomorrow Al and I will TRY to get some sleep, get the house ready and relax as much as we can. Hopefully my labor will not be too long and by Wednesday night Al and I will be the proud parents of a healthy baby girl! Please say a prayer for us! :)

40 Week Baby Bump...We have finally made it!

Well Al and I can hardly believe it, we have finally made it to the last and FINAL week of our pregnancy. I am dilated to 4 centimeters and almost 100% effaced. We are both off of work and getting impatient with all this waiting....Now all we need is a baby!

My students at school all got together and had a baby shower for me. How sweet!!! Here are some of the cute things the kids picked out for baby. I have to admit I was very surprised and overwhelmed by their generosity. I secretly think they thought they wouldn't have to do any work if they brought me gifts :)

Due Date is Coming....(37 week doctors appointment)

I saw the doctor yesterday and Al and I are getting excited. The doctor said the baby has dropped, I have dilated 2 centimeters and I am about 80% effaced. Now even though that is not a guarantee that she will be coming soon, my doctor does think she might be ready before her original due date of the 24th of February. So now I guess the waiting game begins.
