One month of Sofia

Today I am one month old!!!!!

How fast time goes...our little sweetheart is 1 month today! Happy Birthday Honey!

Its been a month of fun! We love our little girl and we feel so lucky everyday to have her. Just a quick month update, Sofia now weighs 10LBS and 5 OZ. She is still 20 inches long. She has really started to focus with her eyes and will follow my voice or Al's voice. She is also starting to discover her hands. She is changing everday and gets more beautiful by the minute.

This weekend Al is in Omaha competing in a power lifting competition! Here is Sofia cheering for her Daddy!!! An update from Al: He currently broke the all time world record in squats, lifting today 876pounds! YAY Daddy!!!! The shirt worked! (If you can't read her outfit says: My daddy can squat more than your daddy!)

Sofia's Baptism

I can't believe my little girl has already been baptised! It was a special day with many friends and family there to help celebrate! We thank everyone who came to the party for Sofia!!! Sofia was the best baby during the entire process, she did not cry at all and hardly woke up from her deep slumber, or what I like to call her "milk coma."

To celebrate Al's 30th Birthday we went out together and left the baby with Grandma for the first time since we have had the baby! It was fun to get out of the house and enjoy the company of friends and family! Thanks to everyone who came to the party, you really helped make Al's birthday special!!

We miss Daddy!!

This week Al had to travel for the first time out of town since Sofia was born. We miss him very much! Sofia is already anxious for Friday to roll around so she can have her daddy back! Here is a little note to daddy from Sofia! :)

Parenthood is so much fun.......

Here are some of my favorite pictures that we have taken so far with Sofia. She is so cute. Parenthood is turning out to be a lot of fun, but also so exhausting. Night time is the worse, she gets up usually about every hour to two hours give or take. I may be exhausted but when you wake up and see her face looking at you, you forget how tired you really are. Al and I are really enjoying being with her, holding her, and watching the diferent facial expressions she makes. She already has Al wrapped around her little finger. He is turning into a little softie already!
